How long has Caldwell, NJ been Around?  Since before the Revolutionary War that won the independence of the United States of America.  The war was fought right on Bloomfield Avenue. In the center of town, there is a park with a cannon which was used and pays tribute to those who fought to win our freedom.  It is right across the street (Roseland Avenue) from the beautiful Protestant church that was established in 1784.
